The Primm Valley Resort and Casino is located 48 miles southwest of the Las Vegas Strip on the California/Nevada stateline and is across the street from Whiskey Pete's Hotel and Casino. Primm Valley Resort boasts 624 affordable rooms, a 41,000 square foot casino with more than 1,500 slot machines, a 78-seat race and sports book, numerous restaurants including the gourmet room GP's, as well as a food court and martini bar.

The western-themed Buffalo Bill's Resort and Casino opened in 1994 on 55 acres immediately north of Primm Valley Resort and Casino and the northbound exit ramp for I-15. The 1,242-room property features 46,000 square feet of casino space, the Desperado (one of the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the world), the Turbo Drop, the Ghost Town Motion Simulator Theatres, the Adventure Canyon Log Flume Ride, a variety of restaurants, a food court, a state-of-the-art video arcade and the 6,000-seat Star of the Desert Arena.
